Our Story
Impact Travel Group was not built overnight. It grew from more than a century of combined experience across organisations that each found their own way to the same conclusion: that travel done properly changes people and places in equal measure.
Today our collective brings together eight organisations operating across Africa, Asia and Latin America. The journeys are different, the destinations are different and the disciplines are different, but the commitment to outcomes on both sides of every trip is the same across all of them.
We do not manage impact from a distance. We measure it, return to it and build on it year after year, because that continuity is what separates a standard from a promise.
Our Pacts
A pact is a commitment with accountability built in. Our pacts are focused commitments between travellers, partners and communities, each one aligned to a specific UN Sustainable Development Goal and each one defined by measurable outcomes rather than aspirational targets. They exist because good intentions are not enough and a promise without a proof point is just a promise. Each pact reflects an area where our collective has the depth of experience, the on-the-ground presence and the long-term partnerships to make the commitment credible. We do not launch a pact where we cannot demonstrate real, verifiable progress, and we hold ourselves to that standard across every brand in the group. We set the impact standard for travel.

The People Behind the Standard
The people behind ITG bring decades of experience in impact travel, education and community development across three continents. Our leadership team is supported by 250 dedicated staff worldwide, many of them local to the communities we work in. That proximity is not incidental. It is essential to how the standard holds, how relationships deepen over time and how trust is earned rather than assumed.
