Who we are
Impact Travel Group Limited (“ITG”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting the personal data of all those who interact with us. We are the group company behind a collective of impact travel brands, registered in England and Wales.
Impact Travel Group Limited.
Number: 17222032
Address: Unit 1 Kingfisher Park, Headlands Business Park, Ringwood. BH24 3NX
This policy covers the Impact Travel Group corporate website only. Our destination management companies and our impact travel brands manage their own customer data separately and publish their own privacy policies on their own websites.
ITG Does Not Take Bookings
ITG does not organise or book expeditions or travel programmes directly. Any booking is made with one of our impact travel. brands, and that company’s privacy policy governs how your booking and traveller data is handled. If you’re looking for the policy that applies to your booking, please visit the relevant company’s website. Visit “Our Collective” page for all booking entities website details.
What Personal Data We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with this website. Typically this includes your name, email address, telephone number where provided, the name of your organisation and any message you send us. If you apply for a role with us, we will also collect your CV and covering letter.
When you visit our website we may also collect technical information about your device and browser, pages viewed and how you arrived at our site. This helps us keep the site working and improve it over time.
Enquiries And Sharing With Our Brands
Our enquiry form includes the following consent statement: “I am happy for Impact Travel Group to store my details and share them with the relevant brand in our collective to get in touch with me.”
Where your enquiry relates to a specific impact travel brand, we will forward your details to them so they can respond to you directly. Each of our impact travel brands publishes its own privacy policy on its own website. Links to our brand websites are listed on our “Our Collective” page [URL to be confirmed].” We encourage you to review the relevant policy before submitting your enquiry.
We will only share your data with the impact travel brand your enquiry is about. We do not pass your details to others in our collective for their own marketing purposes.
How We Use Your Data
We only hold and use your personal data for the purpose for which it was provided. This means:
• responding to enquiries you have sent us
• forwarding your enquiry to the relevant brand in our collective, where you have confirmed consent
• sending you newsletters or updates about ITG and our collective, where you have signed up to receive them
• managing relationships with investors, partners and the press
• processing job applications
• keeping our website secure and improving how it works
We will always give you the opportunity to opt out of receiving further communications at any stage.
Our Lawful Basis Under UK GDPR
UK GDPR requires us to have a lawful basis for processing personal data. We rely on:
• Legitimate interests — for responding to enquiries, operating the website and managing investor and partner relationships
• Consent — for sending newsletters or marketing updates, sharing your enquiry data with a brand in our collective, and setting non-essential cookies
• Steps to enter a contract — for processing job applications
• Legal obligation — where we are required to process data by law
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered those interests against their impact on individuals and are satisfied they do not override your rights. We are happy to provide further detail on request.
Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell personal data. We share it only where necessary, and only with organisations that are bound by appropriate data protection terms. This includes:
• brands within our collective, where your enquiry relates to that brand and you have confirmed consent through the enquiry form
• service providers who host this website, send our emails or provide analytics, acting on our instructions
• professional advisers including legal and financial advisers, where needed
• regulators, law enforcement or other authorities where we are legally required to do so
We do not share enquiry, newsletter or recruitment data with brands in our collective for their own marketing purposes beyond the enquiry you submitted, unless you have separately agreed to that.
International Transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we put appropriate safeguards in place — such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement — to ensure it continues to receive a comparable level of protection.
